Her eyes watered as he held tightly onto the object, his grin widening at her horrified expression.

“If you really want, come and get it.” his smirk taunted her as she took a step forward to his tall figure. she gulped down her saliva and breathed deeply.

He wouldn't open it, he wouldn't dare go through each entry, reading each word. He wouldn't be interested, there was nothing good in those heartbreaking pages. Nothing but her deadly secrets that she knew she could never share.

“Give it back,” she pleaded, her voice sounding pathetic even to her own ears.
